Garden Design:

We can design your outdoor space for you. The design is very much "client focussed", and is tailored to your individual likes and requirements. We can design the whole garden, or just part of the space. The service includes planting schemes as well as full design (incorporating hard landscaping elements).

We are a very experienced landscaping company. We know how much things cost. When designing to a clients budget, we can ensure that the cost to construct, matches the budget. This is a significant strength, and advantage.

Case Study:

Our client had recently moved into a new property, and the garden was a blank canvas consisting entirely of lawn. The client brief was to create a garden that was contemporary, and created a space for entertaining friends. He wanted lighting and a feeling of space, and was keen for the garden to be a private space.

The final garden consisted of raised soft wood planters with integrated seating and a pergola. A large Wisteria was planted on the pergola. The pergola and planting will create the privacy requested by the client.

Paving was used to draw the eyeline away from the neighbouring building, towards the middle and right of the garden.

The area on the left has slate monliths.

The sleeper raised beds have inset lights to illuminate the grass (Rolawn Medallion) and slate seating area, and spot lights used to highlight features.

The recessed lights create a wash of light over the new fire pit area, and highlights the slate chippings beautifully.

The lighting is mains voltage and uses GU10 LED lamps, which will allow for a high degree of future flexibility. The client can change these for coloured bulbs, or remotely controlled ones, if he so chooses.

The garden is small, but by using design elements in proportion, there is now a feeling of greater space and continuity.

The small paved area is for a bbq in the summer months.

The spotlight highlighting the slate monoliths works well at night, and is complemented by the recessed low level lighting in the raised beds.

All of the bulbs were GU10 LED, as before.

The overall effect is to create an intimate area at night for entertaining.

The grey colours chosen for the fence and constructed items gives a contemporary feel, and will work perfectly with the the Dancook 9000 fire pit that the customer has ordered.
