We were approached by the owners of a new build house in Godalming, to design and build their new garden for them.
An in depth meeting was held, during which they discussed their requirements. They wanted a traditional garden layout, with certain elements, namely a large patio, shed, covered pergola and planting that was safe for cats, and children.
Two outline designs were drawn and they chose this layout.
The sandstone was supplied by themselves, and the planting was predominantly pinks and purples, with white chosen in the shaded areas.
The garden prior to works being undertaken.
Being a new build, there was nothing present except a basic patio and lawn.
Hard landscaping underway.
The sandstone is calibrated and laid on a full mortar bed, having been sealed on the underside, prior to installation.
Patio laying completed, with ACO Rain Drain installed.
Patio awaiting pointing.
ACO Rain Drain was installed with an Aqua Cell preformed soak away unit.
Corner seating area, and integrated pergola being installed.
This was chosen and supplied by the customer.
