If you have found this page, then you will already have read all about my qualifications and experience.
I would like to share some of the more personal aspects of my life - my hobbies, interests and passions!
Exmoor and North Devon:
Following on from exposure to Covid in early 2020, I was diagnosed with lung and heart conditions, which were diagnosed a couple of years ago. I have found a real pleasure and joy in camping on Exmoor. The air is lovely and clean, and it gives me a sense of peace and wellbeing that is almost impossible to replicate.
I stay on the same farm (Westland Farm) each time and I have built up a wonderful relationship with the owners, Andy and Nicky and the farm dogs "Tug: and "Nell".
I have seen Nell grow up and she knows me well, and will make a beeline for me when I visit. The following is a small collection of photos of the farm from my visits...
North Devon itself is a truly beautiful place and has much to offer...
I love photography, landscapes and wildlife. I wasn't a fan of the seagull that stole half of my pasty though!
If you are ever down that way, then make Ilfracombe a priority. The Pasty Bakehouse makes and sells the very finest pasties and I recommend the "Proper Big 'Un". Next
door is Joeys, which is an amazing ice cream parlour, and the three scoops in a tub is well worth it!
I grew up in North Cornwall (Treburrick and Newquay) and Devon feels like home.
I'm a very spiritual man, and what matters to me is leaving the world a better place than when I entered it.
