Knowledge and experience. 

David Luscombe:

We were formed in 1997 by David Luscombe, who graduated in Biological Sciences with his final year emphasis being Plant Physiology. 

He spent 15 years working at Wisley, offering expert advice to members of the public, relating to all aspects of gardening: horticulture, plant choices, landscaping, pruning etc. 

He has spent over 30 years in this industry, working with plants and has himself, constructed and planted numerous gardens over the years. He has been called upon to undertake specialist pruning, installation of irrigation systems as well as constructing, planting and maintaining all manner of gardens. 

As a designer, David knows how to construct and plant, right from the outset, having spent a lifetime actually doing so. His knowledge is extensive, and he applies that knowledge from the beginning. He can see what will work; he knows about materials, and he can offer a far deeper insight into the costs, and construction than a lot of other designers.

Our Construction Team:

The majority of our garden construction is undertaken by Ricky and his team. Ricky lives and breathes landscaping, and has constructed some truly amazing gardens and features in his time. 

He is one of the very finest landscapers available, and the quality of his finished work is second to none.

He has built up an extensive network of associates over the years, and can bring in the right additional contractors, at the right time.
